Richarme went through the whole twentynth century. She has lived two world wars and tremendous evolution in both litteral and painting arts.
From Canton to Montpellier, From Paris to Savoie and Brittany, her true motherland remains painting. In 1947, she gave her own definition :
Painting ? It is a liturgic and universal language. Proportion is the verb. Colors, lines, shapes are its expressive elements, screaming, explosing , proclaiming a poetry that is heard by many and often by instinctive and humble people. as a "sublunary reality", painting is a shout of light, the call of my nights.
